Alice in Wonderland ◆Alice au Pays des Merveilles

During the weekend, we went to the cinema and saw the 3D movie “Alice in Wonderland”. The story is simple but the tea party scene is quite interesting.

After Alice dinks some kind of magic liquid, she becomes a tiny girl. Her little blue dress does make me crazy.

I imagine I could find some similar dress for my dolls but I find one stunning “Mad Hatter” doll on Etsy.

It's cool, non?! :)

My husband is going for business trip for two weeks. This time I don’t go with him cause I need to stay home and prepare to move by the end of April. So I got an extra Easter gift –a small bicycle! When I feel bored at home, I am able to go biking with my neighbor Elizabeth.

I passed a couple of cozy days last week and did not make any minis. I hope I can find some new ideas and inspirations to continue my next projects!

My 10 year old, Joanna, and I went last week during her spring break and I loved all of the dress changes Alice went through as she changed sizes! I love the Mad Hatter doll! What a hat he did have!

I am looking forward to seeing Alice too. I am waiting for my husband to be gone so that I can go alone and enjoy it without his comments :) I like your bicycle!

I have not seen the film yet but will soon. When I was in Paris a few weeks ago (my son is training there) I took a picture of the advert for Alice in the Metro as I liked the French version of the poster :-)

Hi Roxanne,

That gray bunny also makes me laugh loudly; he is really crazy but smart!
Please share with me once you sculpt all the characters and the tea party.
That must be wonderful and fun! :D

Thank you, Paloma! This movie is quite interesting and I believe it will male you laugh!!!

Jody, Alice has 5 different clothes in the movie. I like the mini version of “off-the-shoulder” best that Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp ) makes for Alice when he hides mini Alice inside the teapot. I adore this one. It’s so cute!

Ha ha ha, Carol how come you say that?! Your husband is critical? In fact, after the movie finished, my husband also mentioned the story was very “common” @.@” but it was so fun for me. I am more interested in Johnny Depp now. *LOL
I believe you will enjoy it! :D

My friend tells me Alice is everywhere in Paris and I can imagine the prosperous sights in the streets and in the metro. Enjoy it! :B

Love your tea party!!!!

I can't wait to see the movie--Alice is one of my favorite characters, and of course, the Mad Hatter's Tea Party is my favorite scene!

There is a UK artisan and IGMA fellow, Julie Campbell, who has made the Mad Hatter in miniature. And also Alice.
