French Pastry Party *the 2nd series*

I am crazy for the mini French pastry and box making. I often apply “lace and birds”, which are two of my favorite elements on my design. They are also the symbols of love and passion. It’s agreeable to keep the packages simple and elegant! *It’s also easier to fold and glue.

For the pastry, I made some fruit tarts, profiteroles, domes and cream puffs this week. I got some inspiration from one French recipe book. I “stared” at the photos everyday and tried to tune the right colors. Eventually the result is not bad!

Now you can find them in my Etsy shop.

Saint-honoré à la rose

In the past, I always thought some of French desserts look honorable and indifferent. I have ever asked my father-in law about the origin of Saint-honoré and la religieuse, is that related to the religion? I did not exactly get the answer till now. After sometime, I tried some of them, the sweet and the flavor caught my attention. I just understand how charming they are; they are no more far away.

The diameter of each Saint-honoré is 8mm. If you like it, it's easy to find it on my Etsy shop!
