Old Style Wall Lights & Gilded Books

During Christmas vacations, I have taken a short break and been thinking of my planning and resolutions for 2021. My personal training will soon termine, I will have much more time for crafting and for myself. For the first month of 2021, let’s start via Old Style Wall Lights and new version of gilded books!
Happy New Year to you all!

Au Rêve Gourmand: Tea Salon and Library

I started the tea salon project in 2016 but for the whole concrete project I started offically from the second half of the year 2017. It includes 5 scenes : pastry shop, tea salon, library, tea shop and terrace garden. In between 2017 and 2018, I completed the electric lighting setting. It was a complicated but very interesting project. I also have completed most part of the furniture. During the two weeks of lockdown, I have filled the bookshelves with copies of gilded books. The library in the second floor is almost done.
The painting "Lilas in the glass vase" is the work of my friend Catherine Buron Masbou de 'NINETTE & CO'!
I now need to get more inspiration for the next project! :)

Ô Délices! Pastry Cart - Part 2

I was back to work on Pastry Cart Project on the 24th April when having the vacations in my in-laws' place. Since I had the most difficult part and found no way to bend the brass tube for the pastry counter's lamps. My papa in law gave me plenty of ideas and helped me find out the solution. We had made a 5 day workshop together in their place.

When back to the south of France, I completed the hardware of the cart. The pastry counter is a structure made in cartboards, transparent acrylic sheet and brass tubes. I did not find a correct glue for gluing them together; it's fragile. I hope I am able to improve this part in the future.

I am indeed in a hurry since it remains 5 weeks (actually 4 weeks remaining for me), then my first show in Paris this year will begin. I need more time to complete everything I want to try.

De retour dans le sud de la France, j’ai terminé le chariot il reste à le remplir … Il ne reste que quatre semaines effectives avant l’exposition à Paris. J’espère avoir le temps de faire tout ce que je voulais essayer !
