Workshop: peony bouquets are made

I have returned to my hometown Taipei with my kids since the beginning of July.

It's been 13 years I don't pass the summer time here. I enjoy the weather, the food and I am so pleased to see that my kids are exploring the life style and cultures between Western and Eastern sides. They will learn more about my land, my culture and my language.

In the meantime, I am happy to meet my friends and craft students in Taipei. The first workshop is held in Eslite Bookstore in New Taipei City on 13th July. We have passed a great moment making peony bouquets together.

In the workshop, I see their talent, patience, enthusiasm, taste and insistence toward clay and miniature art. Voila! How beautiful peony bouquets are made!

I am in the vacations and I enjoy my work! :)

A bouquet for my readers and friends in the mini land

I’ve been away from the mini world for 6 years due to the birth of my first kid, also the second one, and the fact that I have lost my father forever. I was lost; this was not easy for me but life continues! It's not bad to take a break; when I stopped handcraft projects, I read, I searched, and imagined about all the possibilities.

I hesitated to tell that I was coming back to the miniatures world; I wait till my determation is strong enough.

Two weeks ago, during the winter vacation, we brought our sons visiting my parents-in-law. It's in the Parisian region, one place pleases me as always. Thanks to them, I had much more time browserling websites and I registered an instagram account. Since I am a newbie, in the meantime, please feel free to add me if I have missed yours; I will follow you in return.

I have several ongoing projects: the first thing I start to launch is mini plant project. I found so many tallented and outstanding artists who created delicate flowers and plants when I was absent in the mini world. I was eager to own all of them (however I cannot...); I make up my mind to train myself. The second is, of course, Mini Food projet, my favorite one. The last is my dollhouse building projet « Au Rêve Gourmand ». Let me show you step by step once the switch mode is ready to turn on!

As a wife, a mother of two children, I'd like to boost myself to be a motive and creative artisan too. All what I need is endless force, energy and much more time for me to sustand the determination.

A little bouquet of peony and dusty miller just for you, my dear readers and friends in the miniatures world!
Hope everyone is doing well

Hugs, bisous,
Peiwen

Blog Anniversary Giveaway

My blog is going to be three years old in July. I appreciate all of you who continue reading, supporting and leaving me comments in the posts. It’s so great to share my works here with you.
After enjoy three-year time playing FIMO, my first paper baby was born in May. There is an invisible hand pushing me forward and I always think the power coming from my audiences. If you don’t look at me, I might feel lonely when dancing in the stage of blogland.

In the previous post, I mentioned I did not have any copy of book for sale but I still have 4 in hand. Before dispatching books to customers, I checked all the books one by one; once I found some trace or stain in the book, I kept it aside. This is why I still keep 4. It’s possible to return them to the publisher but I consider of this for a moment due to the environmental consciousness. They don’t look nice on the cover but the contents are still helpful and attractive to those who are interested in the techniques of miniatures made in polymer clay. Once you agree with my viewpoints, welcome to participate this event. :)

Here I would like to offer a book or a mini peony for my blog readers.
So, as long as you are the follower of my blog, leave your comments and let me know which gift you prefer in this post by 13th July then you will have the opportunity to take my book or the mini peony home! I highly appreciate if you leave the news on your blog too!

The lucky winners will be announced on 14th July, 18h00 local time in France.

I also give another copy as a giveaway on the fan page of Facebook.
Welcome to take another entry there too!

Flower of April- Peonies

I have chatted with a friend about a dreamy wedding scene recently. I started to make some peony bouquets since I believe peony is popular and welcome for most of brides.

After seeing these flowers in full bloom on my craft table, I suddenly became conscious that I needed to force my chef to be back to the tiny kitchen. She has been spending too much time in the garden.

Have a cozy weekend and hope you love my tiny flowers, friends! Don't forget our giveaway either! :o)
