Saint-honoré à la rose

In the past, I always thought some of French desserts look honorable and indifferent. I have ever asked my father-in law about the origin of Saint-honoré and la religieuse, is that related to the religion? I did not exactly get the answer till now. After sometime, I tried some of them, the sweet and the flavor caught my attention. I just understand how charming they are; they are no more far away.

The diameter of each Saint-honoré is 8mm. If you like it, it's easy to find it on my Etsy shop!

When reading this news, I was eager to join this even but it's really far, especially it will be held in March. But on their website, could see many Japanese artisans' creations and blogs.

Cupcakes for your sweetheart & gentleman! [My Etsy online shop]

Still 4 days, St Valentine is coming. I am not good at words.
I seldom say some sweet words to my ex-bfs even my husband.
For me, happiness is just from the pure hearts that we have ever exchanged and many tiny things we have ever experienced together.
But I admit that sometimes the honeyed phrases are quite necessary and useful even at that moment we felt like vomiting but we laughed at the same time in the end.

I am touched and fascinated when reading some brief paragraphs or simple sentences. Here is one for St. Valentine's Day:

"Mon Coeur a rencontré le tien…Il est à toi… garde le bien!"

"My heart have encountered yours…It’s yours… take good care of it!"
--> I promise I will repeat this in Chinese in front of my husband on 14th Feb, no laughing.

Another thing is I consider what to do first for my own business on Etsy.
I believe it would be great for me since it’s part of my passion.
This will be also the first time that I start managing my own online shop.
So many details need to handle.
I just realize how much efforts the sellers need to prepare…
not only the creation parts but administrative procedure & responsibility need to take.

Okay, so eventually my Etsy shop is here:

Hope I will start smoothly…. *Praying!

2010 wishes & resolution!

It’s been a long time I don’t play the mini food. During the past 3 months, we went back to my hometown, and then continued house hunting till Christmas. Fortunately we did find one lovely house; if everything goes smoothly, we’ll move in April. That means I will have my own "professional studio" instead of playing clay on the dining table every time.

It takes some time for me to be back to the world of mini since I was out of practice.
Here I’d like to say thank you to someone, because of his guidance, I could be back and return to this BIG family "faster".
I would also encourage myself to make progress. Of course could not be as lazy as in 2009. XP

Below are my new works. Via them, I'd like to wish Happy 2010 to everybody even it has slid in February, a month to be in love...
